Another Saturday of bowl games is upon us. Use this thread to discuss anything related to these bowls on TV today, or don't, I really don't care. If you want to swap guacamole recipes, whatever, it's cool. Follow the rules of the site, have fun, and enjoy the football on today.
TODAY'S MATCHUPS:
Connecticut vs. Marshall - 10 AM, ESPN
Marshall has surprisingly been not that bad this year. UCONN is trending up too, but it might take awhile for that dumpster fire to be put out
Miami vs. Washington State - 1 PM, CBS
An underwhelming season for Miami meets Wazzu and former Tech HC Mike Leach. There should be fireworks in this one for sure, as well as copious amounts of swagger.
Washington vs. Southern Mississippi - 1:20 PM, ESPN
Washington should get plowed in this one, and while Leach is on at the same time, I guarantee you no Tech fans will be watching.
Indiana vs. Duke - 2:30 PM, ABC
Indiana has looked like both world-beaters and garbage this year. This one is the most underrated game of the day, as these teams are very evenly matched.
Tulsa vs. Virginia Tech - 4:45 PM, ESPN
Frank Beamer's final game at VT could be sullied by a potent Tulsa offense. Many people are handing this to the Hokies on a silver platter, but I don't think it'll be that easy.
UCLA vs. Nebraska - 8:15 PM, ESPN
Nebraska snuck into bowl season on a technicality. While i'm sure that UCLA will dominate this game, Nebraska could surprise me, and let's be honest, what else is there to do?
Enjoy your college football saturday, friends.
