The Red Raiders destroyed Arkansas-Pine Bluff by 40 points in their last outing. Now Texas Tech faces a much better Arkansas mid-major school in the Trojans. Little Rock is 10-0 and appear to be one of the best small schools in the country.
Ark-LR Key Players
| Category | Stat | Name |
| Points/Game | 15.0 | G Marcus Johnson Jr. |
| Rebounds/Game | 4.9 | G Jermaine Ruttley |
| Assist/Game | 5.1 | G Josh Hagins |
| 3pt Made/3pt % | 22/43, 51.2% | G Marcus Johnson Jr. |
| Free Throw % | 22/25, 88.0% | G Josh Hagins |
The Trojans like to rotate a lot of players into the game. They have ten players who average 10 minutes of playing time or more. They're built around a team mentality and not just a few key players but they do have a few studs on their team. Guard Josh Hagins averages 11.5 points a game along with 4.2 rebounds and 5.1 assists. A lot of the offense travels through Hagins so the Red Raiders will need to limit how much he touches the ball.

Little Rock has been rolling this year and now sits at 10-0. The Trojans picked up a good win earlier in the year against San Diego State and another one recently against DePaul. Somehow Little Rock has played Central Arkansas twice this year, each team hosted the other. This will be the Trojans first real test of their 2015/2016 season.
Prediction
Texas Tech 76 - Ark-LR 70
Two hot teams will clash at the USA and expect it to be a pretty close game throughout the contest. Texas Tech has had more games this season against higher quality teams than Ark-Little Rock has and I expect that experience to give the Red Raiders the win in the end.
