Oklahoma hires Lincoln Riley as new OC, per reports - SBNation.com and Lincoln Riley could be ideal fit at Oklahoma - ESPN -- The second article mentions that OU coach Bob Stoops wanted someone to come in and run their system, which is what Josh Heupel wanted to do, but was told to run the ball more and then Heupel was fired. Good luck to Lincoln for every game but one.

Jim Harbaugh looking at uncommitted QB McLane Carter of Gilmer (Texas) | USA Today High School Sports | USA Today High School Sports -- Texas Tech I think would have contacted a bit sooner, but for the dead period.  Depending what recruiting service you like, Carter is closer to 6'3" rather than 6'1" and I still don't know if Carter can play or if he had a ton of terrific talent around him.  I'm glad I don't have to make these decisions.
