FOOTBALL

Rivalry Uniform (Big 12) - Imgur - This got some play on the internets yesterday, but I didn't really see the appeal to see a team in different colors. This wasn't interesting to me, but I am probably in the minority. Texas Tech is wearing black uniforms with orange trim.
The Daily Reflector | Nichol picked to lead Pirate offense -- Dave Nichol is also a former Red Raider and he'll lead East Carolina's offense after Lincoln Riley left to go to Oklahoma.
Texas Tech QB Patrick Mahomes to split time between baseball, football teams this spring | Dallas Morning News -- I don't think this is breaking news, but I guess it is confirmation that QB Patrick Mahomes will be splitting time between football and baseball with Mahomes throwing a couple of innings a week.  I feel like we've know that Mahomes would practice with both the football team and the baseball team during the spring, but maybe this is the first time it has been confirmed.  And I suppose I'd love some feedback from you all from an editorial basis.  Would you want this to be a stand-alone post or does this level of news not really require a full-fledged post? I go back and forth internally as to whether or not I think these sorts of stories, require a post on it's own or just include it with the links.
Texas seniors see stock soar prior to NSD -- There are a couple of players here that are on Texas Tech's radar.
O’Connor’s Godfrey to visit Tech, Arizona State - High School Sports -- And this link goes with the link above, which is one of those players is O'Connor's safety Darryl Godfrey (6-1/183), who recently committed to UTSA, but was recently offered by UTSA and Texas Tech.  Mike Jinks is recruiting Godfrey and you can check out his Hudl highlights. He will be visiting Texas Tech at the end of the month.
