With the top of the Big XII getting embarrassed in bowl season (besides Baylor), our national perception is taking a little bit of a hit. I don't know what happened with OSU, I think that if OU doesn't have all those RB injuries they play better, and for whatever reason we played the stupidest matchup of 2015. But all that is behind us, and we have a couple more chances to prove our conference's salt today. I'm normally not a big conference guy, but I don't want to spend the entire offseason getting told we suck by Aggies, so go all Big XII teams.
TODAY'S MATCHUPS (Eastern Time):
Penn State vs. Georgia, Noon, ESPN
This is a gonna be a weird game. I just have a feeling. Normally i'd pick Georgia to dominate, but motivation is a funny thing. Also, Georgia lost Nick Chubb earlier this year. That just sucks.
Kansas State vs. Arkansas, 3:20PM, ESPN
Another GROWN MAN FOOBAW game will match up lovable Bill Snyder with not lovable Bret Bielema. Go Snydercats.
Oregon vs. TCU, 6:45PM, ESPN
The loss of Trevone Boykin will hurt the Frogs, but don't count them out just yet. This is a TCU team that has had a lot of experience playing without key players. Let's not forget that they took Oklahoma to the wire with a backup QB. Oregon started off the season cold, and has caught fire recently. If they can keep playing hot, it might be a long game for TCU.
West Virginia vs. Arizona State, 10:15PM, ESPN
Finally, a mismatch for the Big XII. If WVU doesn't roll behind Smallwood and that defensive secondary, I don't know what I'll do.
