These next couple of days are huge in the college football landscape. First off we have the playoff, which is at an inopportune time, but still should be fun. There are several fun matchups today and tomorrow, and this is the thread for you to dump all of your thoughts, observations, and whatever else you have into.
MATCHUPS:
Houston vs. Florida State, Noon, ESPN
On paper, this should be a blowout, but football games aren't played on paper. Tom Herman got real Houston by getting fitted for a grill this past week, and his offense could chop & screw the FSU defense.
Oklahoma vs. Clemson, 3 PM, ESPN
Oh boy, this is the game i've been waiting for. Will Baker Mayfield come out strong, or will Clemson's defense stifle him?
Michigan State vs. Alabama, 7 PM, ESPN
GROWN. MAN. FOO-BAW.
Notre Dame vs. Ohio State, 1 PM, ESPN
In the battle of Taxes vs. Terrible drivers, Satan vs. Roger Goodell, and losing your wallet vs. losing your keys, there are no winners. Only witnesses.
Iowa vs. Stanford, 4:30 PM, ESPN
GROWN MAN FOOBAW REDUX
Ole Miss vs. Oklahoma State, 8 PM, ESPN
If Ole Miss can get on top early, this could get bloody. However, don't count out the Cowboy's explosive offense and underrated defense.
Enjoy the NY6!
