Former Texas Tech footballer Zach Thomas has been elected to the 2015 class of the College Football Hall of Fame.

Thomas was a first team All-American in 1994 and a unanimous first team All-American in 1995 where he was also named the 1995 Southwest Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
Thomas joins Dave Parks, Donny Anderson, Gabe Rivera and E.J. Holub as former Red Raiders who have been previously inducted.
