The Red Raiders landed commit number 5 this past Saturday with WR Bronson Boyd. I originally wrote about Boyd back in April which you can find here. Boyd recently committed to Houston, but he must've really liked something about the Red Raiders because he flipped his commitment within a week. As of now Texas Tech stands at 5 commits for its 2017 recruiting class and it looks like that's the number the team will roll into summer with.
Since summer is fast approaching, Texas Tech football released their schedule for the camps that will be taking place.

In addition to the Texas Tech sponsored camps, the Red Raider coaching staff will be participating in several other satellite camps with other colleges. The two I've seen so far are in Oklahoma and Louisiana, two states that have been represented in recent recruiting classes.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Red Raiders aren't represented in a few more of these types of camps throughout the summer since this style is starting to grow in popularity.
As all of these camps start to kick off expect more offers to be handed out and some commitments to come in this summer. If any recruiting news breaks, VTM will have you covered!
