What a season this has been! Congratulations to Tubby Smith and his group of men on a fantastic and somewhat unbelievable season. No matter what happens the rest of the way, Tech has already exceeding all expectations and can hold their heads high. I think everyone must agree the win today solidifies a spot in the big dance and I couldn't be more excited!

It was senior day in Lubbock so I am sure emotions were running high. Tech started the game sloppy with turnovers and missed shots. KSU on the other hand came out red hot and actually led the game early 12-2. But Tech, as they have all season, kept battling and lead by as many as 18 points at one point in the second half.

Devaugntah Williams was great today scoring 20 points. I know he has struggled some in conference play, but I was glad to see him go out strong in his last game in Lubbock. Norense Odiase returned to action after a couple of months off due to injury. He scored 4 point s and it was good to see him get some work before the post season begins next week.

The Toddfather, Toddrick Gotcher, also played his final home game for the Red Raiders. He scored 13 points, but he stole the show after the game as he proposed to his girlfriend and she said yes.

The Red Raiders open up the Big 12 Tournament on Wednesday evening against TCU.
