Gotcher will play in top league in Greece

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-Raleigh Practice Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

Coming off one of the best seasons in recent years, recent graduate Toddrick Gotcher has signed a contract to play professionally for ASA Koroivos Amaliadas. The team is in Amaliadas, Greece as a part of the Greece Basketball League which is a 1st tier professional basketball league.

Gotcher, who was All-Big 12 Honorable Mention in 2016, has stated in recent months his desire to continue his career into professional basketball, even if that meant going the European route.

In 2016, Gotcher posted a line of 10.9ppg, 3.5rpg, and 2.2apg. He was the heart of the Tech basketball team including major performances in wins over Baylor, OU, and OSU. A stretch that affirmed Tech’s goal of reaching the NCAA Tournament.

Toddrick will be sorely missed this upcoming season in Lubbock, but the entire Red Raider family wishes him and his family well as they embark on this next adventure.
