Texas Tech split its games last week going 1-1 and now only have two regular season games left before the Big 12 tournament. First up this week is West Virginia who is ranked #10 in the latest poll. In Lubbock, the Red Raiders almost beat WVU but floundered in the last minute giving up a 4 point lead and ultimately losing 80-76. Will Texas Tech make it a game again?

Jaysean Paige has been playing lights out here lately for the Mountaineers. He's really come on strong since the last time Texas Tech and West Virginia met up. Two games ago against Iowa State, Paige put up 34 points which is a career-high for him. Devin Williams is still a big contributor down low for WVU as well. It'll be interesting to see how the Red Raiders focus on who to slow down.

The Mountaineers are 6-4 since they last met up with the Red Raiders. The 4 losses came against Florida, Kansas, Texas, and Oklahoma. The Florida loss was a bit of a shocker, Kansas isn't a surprise, Texas has been playing well and Oklahoma pulled off a 14 point romping. WVU has won its last two so they do have a bit of momentum going, but can Texas Tech pull off the upset in Morgantown?
Texas Tech 74 - West Virginia 72
I legitimately think the Red Raiders pull off the upset. They had West Virginia's number in the last matchup but let the lead slip away in the last minute. Since that game, Texas Tech has been playing great and the team can now close out games. Look for the Red Raiders to play with a lot of intensity and look at this game as a revenge game.
