Kansas comes in as the #1 team in the country, fresh off of an instant 3-OT classic win vs #2 Oklahoma. Kansas is a traditional basketball power in the Big XII, and is one of the more successful basketball programs in the history of college basketball. Getting a win over Kansas would be monumental for head coach Tubby Smith and his rebuilding effort for the Red Raiders.
Texas Tech is 11-2 on the year, and their only two losses have come to top 25 teams at the time (Utah and Iowa State). Wether we get this win or not, Tubby Smith has this team on the right track.
