The college football season is by far the most fun season of tweeting. Once it ended I didn't expect the college sport twittersphere to be so active. But when you're on twitter dot com as often as I am, you stumble around lots of entertaining tweets.
With National Signing Day fast approaching, crootin' talk is escalating quickly. Crootin' for those unfamiliar with the term is derived from the english word 'recruiting.' It's quite hilarious when grown men decide to talk crap to college kids on twitter and then tell them to act professional. Twitter was a real blast this week. Oh and basketball happened too I guess.
Bored? A little Baker Mayfield lip-synching to Katy Perry should brighten your day. https://t.co/DjaEikY378 pic.twitter.com/3DLwTlsExq

This is by far the greatest crying Jordan I have ever seen, and I've seen a lot of them. We all have. I still like them though I may be in the minority.

This requires a bit of background in order to fully appreciate all of its glory. Friday night it was announced that an A&M recruit had decommitted. This lead to UT fans/crootin' talkers to start talkin' trash. It was something about having 10 secret commits or that longhorn scientists had devised a way to clone Vince Young. So some aggie started talkin' mess about UT linebacker Malik Jefferson for who knows what reason.
It was all fun and games until Lead Recruiting Analyst for Gig Em 247 Taylor Hamm decided to tag Malik in this mess. Malik didn't appreciate that because honestly nobody should be tagging college kids or especially recruits in random petty crap. The whole mess got blown way out of proportion and it was hilarious to see so many people #madonline at one time, especially when it's Aggies and Longhorns. Taylor would apologize later but the butthurt would remain forever.

Another excellently crafted Jordaning piece. Jon Luke is a twitter friend of VTM. He does good things sometimes.

Be sure to follow @vivathematador and @80gradewhitt for the best tweets in existence, or just above average tweets I'm not great at self evaluation. Thanks for reading and until next time, I'll see y'all around the internet.
