Texas Tech Football Looks to Regain Confidence Against Bulldogs.
After what seems like an implosion of the Texas Tech defense, the Red Raiders lost a shootout late in the game in Tempe against the Sun Devils. They look to find their stride against a good-looking LA Tech team this Saturday. The Bulldogs look to upset the Red Raiders at home after their successful 9-4 record that included a bowl win over Arkansas State. It’s not time to hit the panic button, but this game could have huge implications on how the rest of the season will play out. Kickoff is at 6:00 PM
Women’s Soccer pull off comeback win against Appalachian State.
The Red Raiders found themselves behind late in the first half of play, but after a goal by Gwennie Puente and a Mountaineer own goal, the Red Raiders won the game. The team will visit Loyola Marymount and San Diego State before beginning Big 12 play against Kansas in Lawrence. The team currently sits at a 6-1-1 overall record.
The Texas Tech Volleyball Team Dominating Non-Conference schedule.
The Lady Raiders recently won the Texas Tech invitational, and are now 9-2 overall. Tony Graystone, the head coach at Texas A&M Corpus Christi for seven seasons, has found a winning form here at Texas Tech. Let’s hope that conference play has that same result.
Former Red Raiders Experienced their First NFL Games
Both Jakeem Grant and DeAndre Washington suited up for their respective teams this Sunday in the first week of NFL football. Let’s hope we see more of them in the coming years, and as always we wish them the best of luck.
