Kerry Hyder - DE (Detroit Lions)

After Kerry made the team due to a brilliant preseason week 4 performance, he carried on into the regular season. The Lions sacked Colts QB Andrew Luck twice in their 39-35 win, and Kerry had both sacks. Lions coach Jim Caldwell said about Hyder:

Hyder also had a great push against a Colts lineman, pushing him into Luck and messed up his throwing motion. Kerry is a player to keep an eye out for, and if this continues, could play his way into a starting role.

Michael Crabtree - WR (Oakland Raiders)

Crab is most famous for his catch against UT in 2008, but now he has an NFL moment. He had 7 receptions on 9 targets for 87 yards, but his big catch came at the end of the game against the Saints. The Raiders scored with 47 seconds left in the game, just an extra point away from tying the game up. Instead of going for the tie, coach Jack Del Rio decided he wanted the win, and called on Mike to get it for him.

Danny Amendola - WR (New England Patriots)

Danny had just 3 catches on 4 targets for 48 total yards receiving, playing in only 19 of the Patriots 71 snaps. He had surgery this past offseason on his ankle and injury, with this game being his first back and the Pats are trying to ease him back into playing. In their game-winning drive, New England was facing a 3rd and 15 when Garoppolo found Dola for a 32 yard pickup, his longest catch of the night. His biggest moment may have been before the game even started when he grabbed a hold of the American flag.

Other Red Raiders in action

  • Deandre Washington (Oakland) had 5 rushes for 14 yards and a 10 yard reception on his only target of the afternoon against the Saints
  • Jakeem Grant (Miami) had 2 kick returns for 67 yards and 3 punt returns for 16 yards in the Dolphins 12-10 loss in Seattle
