This week the Lubbock Eats bracket heads into the quarterfinals with 8 remaining restaurants. Voting will still go until the following Monday at noon. #1 Spanky's vs #4 Triple J Chophouse
Our first quarterfinal matchup pairs two of Lubbock's best known restaurants. Spanky's has your assortment of sandwiches, burgers, and tasty appetizers. While Triple J has a little more "fine dining" items and its own brewery. This is a matchup of fried cheese vs craft beers, hard for there to be a loser. Whoever wins this will have a good shot at being crowned the winner.
#1 Chimy's vs #5 Orlando's
Both Chimy's and Orlando's won with landslide wins in the first round so this could be a toss up between the two. Chimy's has its well known margaritas, nachos, and gut rockets while Orlando's has tasty Italian food including pasta and pizza which is hard to come by in the Hub City. I see this vote coming down to the wire.
