The Past Week In Texas Tech Sports 4/27-5-3

Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

All your sports news from the week in one place.

The NFL draft took place this weekend. Unfortunately, no Red Raiders were drafted, but VJ Fehoko and Bradley Marquez were picked up in free agency, to the Browns and the Rams, respectively. This isn't too terribly troubling, as we were very underclassmen heavy this past year.

Tech baseball had a tough time with Grand Canyon during the weekday mini-series, losing 2 of 2. After losing the first game to Texas, they rattled off two wins to take the conference series 2-1. The Red Raiders next face West Virginia on Thursday.

Tech Athletics released a ton of video interviews with several members of the football team, including Justin StocktonJustis Nelson, and Jakeem Grant (all hyperlinks are to the respective interviews).

Smith, Evans, and Odiase also sat down with the Double T Insider to discuss their freshmen seasons

It's a pretty neat interview with the future of our basketball squad.

It's Monday, we're all bummed, so here's a throwback video of Gabe Rivera knocking people out
