Texas Tech receiver Reginald Davis was arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession on Monday. As of now he is still on the team, but who knows how this plays out. Last month, Grant Bouma was released from the football team when he was booked on a DWI charge and possession of a fictitious ID or driver's license. Grant was a walk-on and Reginald is a projected starter which may or may not give him a little more leeway.
This is still not a great position for Reginald to be in after his disappointing season last year. Lots of folks including myself had big expectations for him coming into the 2014 season but he came up short of those expectations. He finished the 2014 season with 29 catches, 318 receiving yards and 5 receiving TDs.
