All your weekly news in one spot

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Texas Tech high jumpers continued their dominance at the Michael Johnson Classic in Waco, Texas, going 1-2 at the meet. The #15 ranked Red Raiders performed admirably overall, and you can read all about it here.

Tech Baseball took care of Abilene Christian and defeated the Kansas State Wildcats 2-1 in their weekend series. The Red Raiders looked really good this weekend, really hammering the Wildcats in their last two games. Wes wrote about the series here.

Kliff Kingsbury took a little siesta to go hang out with Floyd Mayweather over the week.

I'm not personally on the "Kingsbury is too Hollywood" bandwagon, but he definitely threw some fuel onto that fire with this picture. Look for speculation on whether Kliff plays too much hip hop at his practices to run amok for a little bit.

Max Olson sat down with Mike Mitchell to talk with him about his relationship with his father. It's a touching article, and you can read that here.

Texas Tech lost a big commit this week: Collin Wilder out of Katy. The hits just keep coming on the recruiting front. You can read about it or jump into the discussion here.

To balance out losing Wilder, we picked up a 2016 O-Line commit in Giovanni Pancotti. His Hudl page is here if you're interested.

Tubby Smith reeled one in this week too, JUCO player Devon Thomas. You can watch a highlight clip to get a feel for what kind of player he is here.

Red Raider Golf upset the #2 ranked Texas Longhorns this week. Here's a recap from texastech.com.

In case your Monday is going poorly, here's a highlight reel from our 2012 upset of #5 West Virginia
