Saturday Baseball Results

Texas Tech won the opening game of the Saturday double header versus the San Francisco Dons 15 - 6 behind the strong relief pitching of left hander Parker Mushinski. Mushinski worked 3 solid innings giving up a single run. Newcomers Michael Davis and William Hairston made their Red Raider debuts going 2 -5 and 3 -4 respectively as Tech put up 15 runs for the game.

In the nightcap the Red Raiders prevailed again 13 – 5 largely due to the efforts of starting pitcher Dylan Dusek who went 6 innings yielding only two runs while striking out 5. The Tech offense continued its roll generating 15 hits for the game. The team has managed to score 37 runs through the first 3 games of the season.

The Red Raiders go for the sweep of the 4 game series at high noon Sunday.
