Week 4 Recap
Well after 4 weeks, I think some of us are starting to get the hang of this whole picking against the spread thing. However, college football does not always go the way we think they do. Georgia Tech was shut down by Duke, and 2 games had a whole number for the spread, which is exactly how those games ended so nobody was awarded any points. First a look at the overall standings for the group.

Ryan remains in the lead, however Drew was the only one able to pick over .500 this past week. Confidence points are really starting to count for the standings, as Conner and Ryan both picked 10 games correctly, but were separated by 23 points. Let's look at the conference game results

The UT-OSU game messed everyone up with the game ending in the exact spread, so in the future beware of assigning high point values to whole point spread games (like most of us did). Everyone seemed confident in our own game, with at least 14 points committed. With conference play starting, there will only be at most 5 Big 12 games each week the rest of the year.
As far as this week goes, the big news was our own game. The over/under opened up at 90.5, the highest ever for a college football game, and many believe taking the over is a smart decision. There are some saying the OU-WV winner will have the inside lane for the Big 12 title. Apparently the hype for Baylor and TCU has diminished and it won't be a 2-horse race.
