Post Game Thread: Texas Tech Wins, 34-31 Over Iowa State

A huge win, in a season where Texas Tech has struggled to find wins, over the Iowa State Cyclones, 34-31.  The Texas Tech defense was bending and bending and bending all afternoon, but when it really mattered, the defense came up with two huge stops, on third down by Nigel Bethel II and on 4th down by Micah Awe.

Patrick Mahomes was 23 of 35 for the day for 328 yards and THE STAR OF THE GAME WAS DEANDRE WASHINGTON AND DEANDRE WASHINGTON NEEDS TO BE IN ALL CAPS FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT BECAUSE HE CARRIED THIS TEAM WITH 186 YARDS RUSHING AND 51 YARDS CATCHING THE BALL.
