It's mailbag time for Arizona State week!

It's that time of the week! Time to answer your questions for this week's Matador Mailbag. Let's get right to it!

I think all M&M's taste the same no matter the color.

David Gibbs and his defense should be aware of Manny Wilkins. However, I would be more worried about him specifically if he ran for more than 89 yards. The fact that all of ASU's touchdowns in Week 1 came on the ground does concern me since this defense struggled against the run last year. However, based on their last performance, I believe Gibbs will have this defense fired up and ready to go.

A few come to mind, but I think that could be Pat Mahomes. He passed for four TDs and ran for two more last week so he definitely has the capability to put the offense on his back. While Pat obviously can't throw and catch touchdowns by himself, I feel he can be responsible for every touchdown in this game passing or running.

Well considering we finished that year 7-5 with a bowl win, I believe so. I predicted before the season the Red Raiders would go 8-4 and I feel that's a possibility. They have a favorable schedule to do it and they have a good number of starters returning.

I believe Tech will win and go to 2-0. While ASU had a great game against an FCS school, similar to Tech, their defense gave up 369 yards passing last week. I feel Mahomes can pass for that many in his sleep based on what I've seen him put up before. Tech's defense will likely struggle, but I believe their offense will outplay ASU's.

For me it's all about the BBQ! Brisket, sausage, ribs, and maybe some wings. That's the food that screams tailgating to me.

After his Week 1 performance in the 3rd and 4th quarters? I don't think so, yet. I don't know how many more opportunities Tech's backup QBs will get based on the fact that Mahomes is the undisputed starter. Shimonek could get another shot in a blowout and play better, but who knows? I'm also interested in seeing Jett Duffey play at some point this year.

I think a lot of experts are drawn to the fact that Texas beat what was supposed to be one of the top teams this year and they have not done that a lot in recent years. I think Wisconsin should be given more credit for taking down LSU than Texas did to Notre Dame. The Irish had players suspended and injured and in my opinion they are a little overrated this year. LSU has been consistent for years under Les Miles and I think they are a better team than Notre Dame this year.
