After a convincing 69-17 victory over Stephen F. Austin on Saturday, it appears the Red Raiders decided to have some fun over the three day weekend.
Kliff Kingsbury tweeted the following video Monday night of some post-practice festivities. Whether it was to keep the team loose or just for fun, it looks like Texas Tech brought in some actors to do a WWE Monday Night Raw skit for the players.
It's Labor Day, so we decided to start @WWE Monday Night Raw a little early... #WreckEm @JohnCena @TitusONeilWWE pic.twitter.com/O0HLAgUpRM

And while it doesn’t appear to be the real John Cena, it sure looks like the players had fun and enjoyed it. Hopefully the Red Raiders can enact a similar beat down on Arizona State this Saturday.
Note: This is a little surprising to me since Kingsbury has seemingly tried to stay under the radar in recent years. After the Beyonce ice bucket challenge video, it seems he’s tried to avoid making a splash (no pun intended). Let’s hope this doesn’t distract from the team’s focus.
