I think we all saw this coming.
Le'Raven Clark has been taken 82nd overall by the Indianapolis Colts. I'm really happy for one of the stalwarts of the Red Raiders to finally have an NFL home. Many scouts have said that while Clark is a tad raw, he has tremendous upside that counteracts any negatives on film. Essentially, as terrifying as it sounds, Clark has room to grow.
Le'Raven Clark started 51 straight games for the Red Raiders. Clark was a freshman All-American at right guard and was selected to the All-Big XII team three consecutive times after that. In 2015, Le'Raven was named to the second-team All-American squad. Clark will find transferring from a two-point to a three-point stance relatively difficult, but ultimately this is a guy who can be a starter in the NFL at least. He has that kind of frame, upside, and arm length.
Clark will be remembered for being the anchor across the Texas Tech offensive line, consistently defending some of the best pass rushers in the nation, opting to return for his senior year after receiving a relatively promising draft grade in 2015, and absolutely decleating Baylor's Shawn Oakman.
