One of the replies to that tweet said " Mike Smith and Kevin Curtis out at Tech (For those that don't have RRS)" While there has been no official news from the athletic department, when RRS announces it, it had been accurate in the past. We have speculated here on VTM if Smith's high pressure schemes, evident with the amount of blitzing that we had last year, would clash with Gibbs more laid back and coverage style of play. Mike, currently the coach of the defensive line, was instrumental in recruiting Breiden Fehoko and upcoming recruit Houston Miller out of Keller. His other recruits have been Andre Ross, Nick McCann, Desmon Smith, Austin Deshay, and Ivory Jackson. Kevin Curtis is currently our cornerbacks coach, and has been instrumental in almost two dozen recruits, including Jett Duffey, Keke Coutee, Derrick Dixon, and Jah'shawn Johnson. We will wait for an official announcement from the University, and see if this has any affect on current recruits.
