Shorts was one of the receivers that was looking to take a step up this year after surpassing senior Derrick Willies on the depth chart last season. He finished the season with 8 catches, 103 yards, and 2 touchdowns.
He would have been a starter going into the year and now his spot on the depth chart is up for grabs. Most likely candidates to take his place are incoming transfer Seth Collins, junior Antoine Wesley, and incoming freshman Myller Royals.
That is all the information we have at the moment. We will update as soon as more information becomes available.
