Today marks the first day of classes for Texas Tech, and as well as surrounding colleges and universities.

We are in the final days before Texas Tech football kickoffs their season!

Yes, we’re shaking with excitement too. The Texas Tech Red Raiders will open their season at home against the SFA Lumberjacks underneath the lights. This one will be fun for several reasons, one being that it’s being played at night for the first time in what feels like an eternity. Here’s to another thrilling and hopefully succesful season!

Beta Upsilon Chi - Brothers Under Christ host Aaron Watson & more at the Lonestar Amphitheater

Friday, September 2nd, The Texas Tech chapter of Beta Upsilon Chi - Brothers Under Christ Christian Fraternity will be hosting Aaron Watson plus opening acts at the Lonestar Amphitheater. All Texas Tech, LCU, and South Plains College students will have free admittance to the concert with a student I.D. If you are not a student, you can still but tickets for the concert.

The Lubbock Downtown Farmer’s Market will be taking place this Saturday, September 3rd.

Want to start your game day on a healthy and wholesome note? The Farmer’s Market will run from 9:00 AM to 1:00PM. 19th St & Buddy Holly Avenue.

First Friday Art Trail is happening this week.

The Art Trail will take place this Friday (obviously) at various location around Lubbock.
