Texas Tech: The Red Raiders won their previous series against the Longhorns 2-1, in the first weekend of May… RHP Corey Taylor continues to lead the NCAA with a .36 ERA in 17 game appearances…Bryant Burleson was name Big 12 Co-Player of the Week on May 4… Tech won last season’s series in Lubbock 2-1, and lead the all-time series 4-2.

West Virginia: The Mountaineers are 1-5 in the month of May … SS Taylor Munden has the most home runs by a Big 12 player this year with 11… CF KC Huth had the #1 play on ESPN’s Sportcenter Top 10 for a diving catch he made on May 12… West Virginia won the previous series, in Morgantown, against Tech 2-1, in 2013.
