This Week In Texas Tech Sports: 3/16-3/22

An entire week of Texas Tech sporting news, all in one place.

Texas Tech Baseball continued it's struggles, splitting a series with Oral Roberts and losing a series with Oklahoma 2-1 over this weekend. The Red Raiders are solid at home, but hold a losing record on the road. VTM's Wes Shaw wrote about the Oral Roberts series here, and Conner Crisp put out a preview of conference play, which started this weekend in Norman here.

Tennis player Alex Buzelan made the news for something other than Tennis this week: sinking a half-court shot for $1000 towards books at a Bulls game.

Enjoy that book money Alex, don't spend it all in one place.

Texas Tech Football picked up a commitment this week from 2016 TE Donte Coleman. I haven't gotten around to watching any of his film, but I would imagine it'll crop up in the weekly recruiting post.

Kliff went on the Double T Insider to talk about spring practice, and had some good insight into what's going on this spring

In Basketball news, sophomore forward Alex Foster has requested to transfer. I'm not a basketball guy, so i'm not too sure what this means, but I still have a lot of confidence in Tubby Smith to get the job done this season.

In case you're feeling down this Monday, here are some Michael Crabtree highlights from an era when the Red Raiders actually wore Red in their uniform combinations.
