Wes Welker has gone full Bronco. He probably knew going into last season that his days in New England were numbered so he took the only logical step. He had a hair transplant. Here's what he told USA Today:
"[The growth] doesn't happen right away," Welker told For The Win. "You start to see a little bit after two or three months and in six months you get to see a little more. Once you get up to a year you're really starting to see the difference. It takes a full 18 months till it's fully grown in."
Of course, turning into a Bronco is merely a by product of the procedure, but it seems to be working. In just 18 months, Wes Welker will be full Bronco and the rest of the NFL better take note.
And if you still don't take this shit seriously, check out Bronco Hair on Twitter. Yes, Wes Welker's hair has his own Twitter account.
