OFFERS | None. Little surprised that Felton didn't have a single offer, other than Texas Tech. Not even one.

STATS | I'm guessing that Felton didn't play varsity his sophomore season, but he sure did explode his junior year where Felton had 252 rushing attempts for 1,916 yards, 20 touchdowns, 10 receptions, 91 yards and 2 touchdowns. .

THE PLAYER SPEAKS | Nothing this morning.

SCOUTING REPORT | Felton is pretty much everything that you would expect from a smaller running back that can run like the wind. Probably pretty close to the 4.50 range than the 4.81 listed above. The 4.81 is from the ESPN profile, but I think I'm going to start including the entire range just to give you an idea as to where they were taped at some point.

Felton's Hudl video is actually pretty good. I always try to pay attention as to whether or not a running back can get to the edge if he's a smaler guy and FElton can do that, pretty easily. He's not very patient, so he'll have to work on that, but that's pretty minor and I'd be telling him that if he saw a hole, run for it even if your blockers aren't set up.

I think that Felton is plenty fast and he has pretty good size. The ony ting to worry a bit about is Felton's height, but that's another minor concern in my book in this sort of offense. I would say that I do enjoy having a running back on the roster like Kenny Williams, but I wouldn't be surprised to see that Juston Stockton and Felton are the only two running backs that are committed this year. This position group is probably done.

And as far as Felton not being rated or offered, this is where he pays to have a coach, Mike Jinks, that knows high school football backwards and fowards. He knows who can play and just be glad that he's on our team.

Demarcus, welcome to Texas Tech and Git Your Guns Up!
