Texas Tech's 2016 recruiting class is still sitting strong at 25. The class as a whole is pretty well balanced and we have our quarterback commit with Jett Duffey, who has been tearing it up so far in his last varsity season. It wouldn't surprise me if a few guys decommit and go else where because it's college football recruiting, it happens. If we do lose a few guys I believe we'll be able to get some commits to fill in though.
When looking forward to 2017 we have QB-ATH in Xavier Martin and OL Tyler Castaneda. Both are ranked as 3-star recruits and will be great to start the foundation for the 2017 class. The past few weeks I've gone over what our needs will be looking like in the upcoming recruiting cycles so my question to you guys, the viewers, is what do you want to see in our 2017 class? I've set up a poll to vote and also encourage you guys to voice your opinions in the comments. I personally would like to see us pick up another QB, a handful of OL, 2 RBs, and a good amount of DBs and DL.
