Double-T Nation News:
It's pretty quiet this morning, mainly because the men's basketball team has has the week off before getting back to action against OSU on Saturday. This is going to allow me to catch up on a couple of items, mainly making my nominations for the 2007 College Bloggers Awards and a close look at the state of the basketball program.
Texas Tech Basketball:
LAJ's Jeff Walker does an excellent job of detailing what happens to this offense when the Red Raiders lose. Walker notes that when this team doesn't hit its jumpshots, go to the free throw line, get some production up front or get Roberson going, then you can probably count it as a loss. The one that bothers me the most is the frontcourt production as I think Knight has options, but is currently playing a 4 guard lineup, which I think can be effective, but it only emphasizes the utter lack of rebounding that this team displays. A little more size in the game, I think, would do this team some good.
Texas Tech Football:

"I know I definitely like Tech a lot,'' he said Sunday.
So I guess nothing's changed.
Williams also provides some updates on some of the local Lubbock products who are hoping to be preferred walk-ons, including Coronado QB Austin Zouzalik, Estacado WR Jeremy Watson, and Frenship DE Aaron Wampler.
