I'm normally not so flippant when it comes to opponents, but I'm really beaten down by the prospect of trying to find 5 players of interest from Northwestern State. In lieu of this, I'll just give you 5 returning players and include whatever stats I could find.

- Germayne Edmond, QB, Jr.: I couldn't find any other quarterbacks on the roster, so I'm going with Edmond here. Last year as a sophomore, he completed 15-34 for 190 yards and 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.
- Adam Varnado, WR, Sr.: Varnado had 25 catches for 358 yards and 1 touchdown. Averaged an incredible 14 yards per catch last year.
- Mack Dampier, LB, Sr.: Dampier had 51 tackles and .5 sacks last year.
- Josh Adams, DB, Jr.: Adams had 3 interceptions to go along with 28 tackles.
