Thank You Veterans

I'd like to take a break from our regularly scheduled programming to say thank you. Thank you to every veteran who has served for our great country or any individual who is currently serving our country. My grandfather was a SeaBee and served in World War II, my father served in Vietnam, and one of my high school classmates is currently serving in Iraq.

I tip my hat to all veterans and current members of the military this morning and I say thank you for serving our country. We as a nation are indebted to you all.

Although it is not much, every Sunday morning for the past 9 years I take my grandfather's World War II 50th Anniversary coffee mug down from the cupboard and pour myself a cup of coffee. It is at this point that I say a small prayer for those who have served our country and those who are serving our country now. As I said, it is not much, but it is my time to remember.

Thank you for serving our country.
