DMN's Chip Brown is reporting that Arlington will host the Big 12 Championship title games in 2009 and 2010. Here's the rundown of Big 12 Championship football games:
- 2008: Kansas City @ Arrowhead Stadium
- 2009: Arlington @ new Cowboys' Stadium
- 2010: Arlington @ new Cowboys' Stadium
Big 12 Basketball Tournament:
- 2008: Kansas City @ Sprint Center
- 2009: Oklahoma City @ Ford Center
- 2010: Kansas City @ Sprint Center
- 2011: Kansas City @ Sprint Center
In 2009 the format will change so that the men will begin play on Wednesday and the championship game will be on Saturday with the women beginning play on Thursday and their championship game will be played on Sunday.
