Saturday Morning Notes

Texas Tech Football:

There's no news on who the replacement offensive line coach will be, but LAJ's Don Williams believes that the new offensive line coach will not come from within the program.

As football fans, I think we should all be celebrating one thing today, The NFL Draft. There's a ton of websites out there, but if you're a fan of a particular team, go ahead and check out one of the SB Nation pro football blogs, and if your team isn't represented then go to your bitter rival and talk some trash. I'm near Dallas and will be listening to The Ticket for all of my Dallas Cowboys news as I have promised the wife I would work on the house today. Per ESPN, here the draft board of all of the schools that start with the letter "T", you can scroll down to see when and if some of the Texas Tech players are drafted. Whatever the method, enjoy your day.

Texas Tech Baseball:

The baseball team lost ugly today, 10-4, as starter AJ Ramos only managed to pitch 3 innings, giving up 7 runs in only 2.1 innings of work. By the way, those 2.1 innings included 5 walks. Reliever Trey Schurr pitched quite a bit better, giving up only 3 more runs in the remaining 5.2 innings of work. The bats have also once against proved mostly ineffective as Thennis and Kyle Martin each had 2 hits and Ashby had 2 RBI. LAJ's George Watson has his game story

Texas Tech plays game 2 of this 3 game set at 2:00 p.m.
