TCU 8, Texas Tech 6

Texas Tech Baseball:

Ughh. TCU hits a 3 run home run in the 7th inning, which was enough for an 8-6 victory Wednesday night in Fort Worth. Starting pitcher Josh Scofield had a quality start, but he see seemed a bit erratic, giving up 3 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 4 in 6 innings. It was the bullpen that allowed the aforementioned 3 run where each reliever gave up at least an earned run (Collin Auten 3, Paul Gonzalez 1, and Brian Cloud 1).

The Tech offense was a little bit better than prior games, but Tech left 10 men on base. Left fielder Chris Richburg had 3 RBI and 2 hits, Matt Smith hit a home run and Roger Kieschnick and James Leverton also had two hits a piece with an RBI each.

Up next is the hated Mizzou Tigers, in Missery, first pitch is Friday at 6:30 p.m.
