Saturday Morning Baseball Notes

Texas Tech Baseball:

Last night's game was halted with 2 outs in the top of the 9th inning. Texas was leading Tech, 7-2 and the final outs of the game will be played today at 2:00 p.m. with today's scheduled game to follow. LAJ's George Watson has the game story. Pitcher AJ Ramos gave up 5 runs in the first 3 innings and Coach Hays had this to say about his performance:

"He just really had a bad night and didn't pitch ahead," Tech head coach Larry Hays said of Ramos. "I think he gave them too much credit and just had an unusual game for him. I don't think he ever got the feel of things. He did have an inning or two where he got a little better, and usually when he gets that way he can keep going, but he never got right tonight."
