Cotton Bowl Moving

The Cotton Bowl will be moving to the new Dallas Cowboys facilities according to the Dallas Morning News.  The news isn't necessarily shocking, but then you get these types of things from the city of Dallas:

Bill Blaydes, chairman of Dallas City Council's economic development and housing committee, blamed the venue shift on Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who decided in 2004 not to build a new stadium in Fair Park - his stated first choice.

"One individual had the ability to destroy 70 years of history," Mr. Blaydes said. "He knew what he was doing when he did it."

So it's Jerry's fault?  Nope, and although I usually don't agree with DMN's Jean Jacques Taylor, but he tends to agree, it's the city of Dallas that couldn't get everyone on the same page.
