Wednesday Morning Notes - Cowboy Hat Returned Edition

Double T Nation News:

I'm back, but barely. We got home from the hospital late yesterday afternoon. My wife is doing well (she had her spleen removed), is still very sore, and in quite a bit of pain.

Thanks for everyone's thoughts, prayers and well-wishes.

I'm exhausted, but one day of work and I'll be done for the Thanksgiving holiday and I'll be back to some regularly scheduled posting. You can look forward to a preview of the epic battle between Texas Tech and Alaska Anchorage later tonight.

Texas Tech Football:

Good news, according to LAJ's Don Williams, the missing cowboy hat that found it's way to Coach Leach after the game has found it's rightful owner. That's about all of the football news out there this morning.

As far as catching up on old news, but it's news to me this morning: the Red Raiders have 16 on the Big 12 Academic Honor Team. Congrats to all of those players . . . Michael Crabtree is a finalist for the Biletnikoff Award which goes to the nation's top receiver. Congrats to Michael, the rest of the team and the coaching staff for consideration for this award . . .

In other mentions around the interweb: SAEN's Tim Griffin Sizes Up the Big 12 . . . FWST's Wendell Barnhouse has his weekly College Football Insider . . . Drew Davidson, special contributor to the FWST, lists every quarterback from Texas playing at a Division I school, of course, Ennis' Graham Harrell is listed . . . Fox Sports' Rich Cirminiello thinks that Texas Tech deserved the Summa Cum Laude designation this week . . .
