Texas Tech is ranked 48th in the nation right now by the recruiting service, Scout in regards to this year's recruiting class. Like most things, it's extremely difficult to judge these sorts of things now rather than later, but it is a little disappointing that Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, Missouri, Baylor, Texas A&M, Colorado, and Texas all have projected classes better than yours.
Just for comparison purposes, Rivals believes that Texas Tech has the 54th best recruiting class.
