Texas Tech has offered Division 2 star Parker Fox out of Northern State.

Fox is a really interesting prospect. Has been at Northern State for 4 years and is looking to take the next step to Division 1. Fox has been extremely productive and would be a really good get for Tech.

Fox this past season averaged 22.1 points per game, along with 9.9 rebounds a game. Fox would be a great addition for Tech offensively. His game brings a lot and it helps that he’s also 6’8, bringing some much needed size.

A lot of people are amazed by Fox’s offensive output, but what strikes me is what he can do defensively. Averaging 3.5 blocks a game along with 1.8 steals a game, Fox is putting up elite defensive numbers. Those numbers are elite at any level, which is why Fox is such a sought after transfer.

Fox had released his top 8 earlier in the week, which included Vanderbilt, TCU, Ohio State, Dayton, Creighton, Florida State, Minnesota and San Diego State. While there are some solid programs on this list, I feel Tech should have a great shot at getting him. If they do, boy look out, this teams got some firepower for next year.

Fox is the type of player Tech has needed since 2019. A rim protector that can get you a bucket when you need it. He would flourish in Mark Adams’ no-middle defense, and be a big boost to the bigs on our roster.
