Poll: Who was your favorite player from the 2010s era?

Tech had no shortage of playmakers on offense during the last decade, but there were some great defensive contributors, too.

The 2010s were a fascinating era of Texas Tech football, riddled with ups and downs, future NFL stars and a few underwhelming seasons to boot.

Even if the program went another decade without a Big 12 championship, it produced a litany of NFL players, including the greatest quarterback in the league right now, Patrick Mahomes.

But I’m curious, who was your favorite player of the decade? Not the best, but the athlete you simply rooted for more than everyone else.

For me, it was Jakeem “The Dream” Grant. Small, shifty and dynamic, Grant absolutely blazed through the Big 12 on a weekly basis and still was disrespected by the mock draft media, who said he was too small for the NFL.

Yeah...speed translates, just so you know.

Now it’s your turn!
