Marcus Santos-Silva is gonna be a Red Raider.
This is a massive pickup for a squad that could use a dominating force down-low. Santos-Silva is one of the most prolific rebounders in college basketball, averaging 8.9 RPG with rebound percentages as high as 26 percent. He is an incredible defender down-low. He had a defensive rating of 89.1 last season (3rd in the A-10) and backed up those numbers by holding Obi Toppin to just 12 points in their February matchup. He has immediate eligibility for the 2020-2021 season.

Santos-Silva is going to be a great addition to a young, guard-heavy team. He will provide reliable scoring down-low, great post defensive, and rack in every rebound possible. If you want more information on why Santos-Silva is a perfect fit for this team, read here.
