After a brilliant showing against Oklahoma State, Texas Tech is back in the driver’s seat of their destiny. For now. Clearly the performance sent a ripple through the fanbase because the confidence chart is rocketing upwards, just in time to take on the conference’s hottest team. Let’s check out what changed in this week’s SBNation FanPulse; the most accurate, fan-based top 25 in the nation:

No movement in the top-five, which is fine, but there were a number of exciting games over the weekend that gave us interesting shifts. I will say this list somehow got skewed because after Texas Tech’s whooping of Oklahoma State they’ve somehow ended up ON the list after not being on it at all. SBNation is diligently working to figure out the issue but until then we all can point and laugh at Oklahoma State. Haha.
Biggest winners:
• Oklahoma State, for entering the top 25 at No. 24 despite losing to Texas Tech, 45-35.
• SMU, for entering the top 25 at No. 22 after defeating Tulsa, 43-37.
• Arizona State, for moving up from No. 25 to No. 19 after defeating Cal, 24-17
Biggest losers:
• Auburn, for falling from No. 7 to No. 12 after losing to Florida, 24-13
• UCF, for falling from No. 21 to No. 23 after losing to Cincinatti, 27-24 but ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF THIS MASTERPIECE:

Well imagine that! Taking down a ranked opponent at home for the first time in six years has its benefits. Tech fans clearly impressed by Wells’ ability to bounce back after tough losses and pick up a big one at home. Going forward we have a tough Baylor team this weekend followed by a tough Iowa State team the next weekend; there’s a lot of good momentum that can be built off winning one or both of those games. For now, it’s good being a Texas Tech fan.
