Quarterbacks: A-
Alan Bowman did a complete turnaround from last week’s game. He was nearly perfect before the half ended, going 21-of-26 for 227 yards and a couple of touchdowns. Bowman didn’t play in the second half after re-aggravating his lung injury.
Jett Duffey took over when the second half began. He didn’t start off well, but kept the team in the game at the end. He completed 9-of-17 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for 47 yards.
Wide receivers: A+
Four receivers scored on Saturday and Antoine Wesley had himself yet another great game. Wesley had 199 yards on 12 catches. Collectively, the receivers had 366 total yards. Also, shoutout to Zach Austin who came up with a clutch touchdown on fourth down. These guys balled out against the Sooners.
Running backs: B
The running backs had a MUCH better game after their horrendous performance against Iowa State. Da’Leon Ward was on fire Saturday night as he ran for 53 yards and a touchdown. He even had 74 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. Ward was the biggest factor for the backs, and there is still no word on Tre King.
Offensive line: A-
These guys did well this week. They gave the quarterbacks good enough time to make plays and allowed 107 rushing yards. There’s room for improvement, but they were going up against a good Oklahoma d-line and held their own.
