Texas Tech is coming off of a heartbreaking loss to #3 Kansas and now must face #6 Baylor. The Red Raiders have lost their last two games by a combined 2 points. They now find themselves in a dire situation to make the NCAA tourney. An upset win over the Bears can drastically help the Red Raiders, but can they pull off the win?

Johnathan Motley is still playing like an elite college player and could find himself winning some awards when it's all said and done. Manu Lecomte has raised his 3pt percentage from 39% to 42% since the last game against the Bears, and he's playing great all around. The Red Raiders will have to limit these two to have a shot in this game.
Last 5 Games
1/28 Ole Miss | W 78-75 |
2/1 #3 Kansas | L 73-68 |
2/4 Kansas State | L 56-54 |
2/8 Oklahoma State | W 72-69 |
2/11 TCU | W 70-52 |
Baylor lost to #3 Kansas and then lost an upset game to Kansas State. Ole Miss and Oklahoma State also played the Bears down to the wire. While Baylor is 22-3, they have played in some close games as of late. Which team will Texas Tech get, the team who beat TCU by 18 or the team who beat 15-10 Ole Miss by only 3?
Prediction
Texas Tech 63 - Baylor 65
Man I hate to say it, but I expect another heartbreaker here. Texas Tech took Baylor to the wire when the two last played, and I believe this will happen again especially playing in Lubbock. If the Red Raiders can win this though, they could spark a run to the NCAA tourney.
