Ondre Pipkins to Participate in College Gridiron Showcase & Symposium

A Texas Tech defensive lineman has been selected to play in an all-star event.

Texas Tech senior defensive lineman Ondre Pipkins announced on his Instagram and Twitter he has accepted his invitation to play in the College Gridiron Showcase & Symposium.

This is a college football all-star event for all divisions. Players will be given five days and four nights to impress professional football scouts. Each will receive professional coaching, mentoring, life tips and seminars to help as they pursue pro football careers. Players will also participate in 1-on-1 drills, meetings, practices and a final scrimmage.

For Pipkins, this is a great chance to show pro scouts what he's capable of and what he brought to the Red Raiders this season. In his only year at Tech after transferring from Michigan, Pipkins played in ten games, had 32 total tackles (21 solo, 11 assisted, and five for losses), with one pass deflection and one fumble recovery.

Myself and every other Red Raider fan wishes you the best of luck moving forward Ondre! The 2017 College Gridiron Showcase & Symposium will be held January 7th-11th.
